Kristen Otto is a board certified Acupuncturist, earning her masters degree in acupuncture from Won Institute of Graduate Studies, and achieving diplomat status with the NCCAOM.  She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia University, and is a licensed esthetician with 14 years experience in Dermatology.

Kristens interest in acupuncture began about 15 years ago when she developed a disabling neuromuscular disorder called torticollis.  When offered pain relievers and muscle relaxers, she decided to take a different route...a less travelled route.  It involved acupuncture & a couple other natural modalities, allowing the body to heal itself, rather than masking the symptoms.  Having been amazed of the outcome, Kristen knew it was in her destiny to create a path to help heal others in a similar way.   Kristen is now truly dedicated, motivated, and passionate about assisting others in achieving and maintaining their optimal health.  She treats a variety of issues including neck and back pain, headaches, migraines, sports injuries, womens health, infertility, gastrointestinal problems, stress, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and others.

Working in the field of aesthetics and dermatology, Kristen also sees an absolute connection with health and beauty.  She is on the forefront of cutting edge treatments that bridge the gap between acupuncture and aesthetics, as well as eastern and western philosophies, offering a holistic approach to skin care and overall wellness.  Kristens AcuAesthetics treatment is customized to each individuals needs and includes a full body and facial treatment that will enhance your inner body wellness and outer body beauty.  "It really goes hand in hand, when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you look good!  My ultimate goal is for you to achieve both!"

Kristen is the founder of New Day Acupuncture & Aesthetics LLC, which is an innovative and integrated approach to creating a new day and a new way for her patients to achieve health and wellness.  She utilizes Oriental medicine modalities including acupuncture, trigger point needling, cupping, gua sha, breathing exercises, meditation techniques, along with skin care. Kristens holistic approach to medicine treats the whole person creating healing, regeneration, and rejuvenation from within ones own body!
